Sellitonthecoast is a new one-stop auction site aimed directly at English speakers living in Spain.
Having lived in Spain for 30 years between them, the partners of Sell It noticed that the Spanish auction sites are too complicated and the English sites either too expensive or too difficult to ship goods from, we feel that there is a market for a new easy to use site here.
The price of advertising in local newspapers can be expensive, and may not yield the results required as they only reach local people…on our site we are using our local knowledge to create a national network of like-minded people, looking to buy and sell a whole range of goods at a fair price.
Worried that you will only get 10 euros when you wanted 40…No problem, when you put your item on the site, add a reserve…if the bidding does not get high enough it will not be sold.
The beauty of an auction as well is that you can place your item on our site, including a picture (rarely available if putting an add in print), and then watch the auction in real time…how much will your item sell for?.... will it reach its reserve? Who will buy it? It really is quite exciting, and the perfect way to clear that garage, empty that shed and make space for that new piece of furniture.
